*EHU is metered. 15 Units (kWh) per night within pitch fees. Visitors rarely exceed 15 units unless particularly cold & they are running electric heating all night. Each pitch bollard has a meter which guests are welcome to check at any point.
The site is exclusively an adult only & pet friendly, offering peace, tranquillity and accessibility to the local idyllic countryside, located outside the hamlet of Easton within walking distance of Longtown and a woodland backdrop, Heathery Belt Woods, part of the Netherby Estate, home of the Graham family.
The local town of Longtown is a little over one mile away, Carlisle a little over six miles away and The World Famous Blacksmith's shop at Gretna Green a little over three miles away, founded in 1754 and renowned for runaway marriages.
Carlisle steeped in Roman history, being the gateway to both The Scottish Borders and England.
Low Moor Head Caravan site provides an excellent stopping off point traveling North or South from the M6, A74, A75 and A69.
Excellent transport links from Longtown with a regular bus service and trains from Carlisle, Gretna Green & Lockerbie providing onward services to Settle, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Newcastle, the Western Lake District, Penrith.
Heathery Belt Wood only 20 meters from the caravan site, here guests can enjoy and explore the excellent woodland walks, birds and wildlife, or simply exercise there dogs.
We are not a working farm but do have a number of animals, donkeys, shetland ponies, ducks, hens, geese and sheep, which our guests are welcome to interact with.
March/April brings the lambs playing with glee.

Booking Information
Booking Terms & Conditions
You must be a current member of the Caravan & Motorhome Club to book a pitch with us. Membership details are taken at time of booking.
All bookings must be secured with a 30% non refundable, non transferable deposit. This must be in the form of a cheque made payable to Low Moor Head Developments Ltd or Bank Transfer (Bank details will be provided at point of booking).

The balance can be paid in the form of a cheque made payable to Low Moor Head Developments Ltd, Bank Transfer, Contactless or Cash on arrival.
If booking with friends please inform us at time of booking so that we can try to site you on adjacent pitches if available.
All Bank Holiday bookings must be secured by payment in full.
Arrival is 12 noon onwards and we ask that you vacate before 11am on you day of departure. We will do our upmost, where possible, to accommodate earlier arrivals or later departures.
We welcome a maximum of two dogs per pitch and can provide mapped woodland walk adjacent to the CL site. Please ensure you pick-up after your dog and keep it on a lead and under close control at all time.
Please do not wash your unit whilst onsite as our water is metered.
We reserve the right to refuse acceptance or to terminate the visit of any person whose conduct we consider is detrimental to us, or to our other visitors.
Cancellations Policy
If a booking is cancelled within 7 days of arrival or terminated early at short notice, then, with no exceptions, we reserve the right to charge the full price.
Events such as vehicle breakdown, inclement weather or illness, etc which may result in delayed arrival or cancellation of your stay are not the responsibility of Low Moor Head CL and therefore full payment will be still required.
By making a booking and paying your deposit you signify your agreement with our refund policy.
